Diabetes care at School Session

Monday 23 February 1-5pm

Most important aspect for me was that I needed to educate myself in every way possible about diabetes and not rely on the Teacher Aide to deal with every aspect.  To learn her routines and how to best support her within the class schedule.  I am reliant on the team of people supporting the diabetics in our school.  Reassure her that she can interrupt at anytime to let me know how she feels and what she needs.  AND remember to take her kit every time we leave the classroom!
