What if we gave our students a platform to share their stories in a way that really matters? How might we leverage this culture of digital documentation?
Story of relationships by three teenage boys - would their story have been told if the teacher had not given them the context and digital tools to use?

The Enemies
TIME - when we invest time in things that matter we get TIME back.
A lot of us as teachers spend time doing things our students could be doing.
CURRICULUM - Not have I covered the curriculum, but have I covered the learning! Were the students engaged or was I just teaching?
The curriculum is NOT THE ENEMY, it is a springboard for innovation. It is up to us, as teachers, to change the lens.
FEAR
Although change is hard at first, messy in the middle, it can be gorgeous at the end.
Our Weapons
VISION - conversations and connections. What we want education to look like?
COMMUNITY - a community of educators committed to excellence. A small group of committed people can change the world.
STORIES - 'Stories are a communal currency of humanity' - Tahir Shah
What impact will that have on our future?
So What? What Next?
CURRICULUM - Not have I covered the curriculum, but have I covered the learning!
Were the students engaged or was I just teaching?
